Our twisted yarn is created by plying two or more strands of yarn of varying shade and color together. Upon plying, a regular pattern of twisted color will appear where the lights and darks and varying hues in the individual strands meet. The resulting yarn will have a shorter pattern repeat than other methods of pattern dying yarn, oftentimes resulting in a tweedy effect in finished knitting or crochet.
