This 100% organic cotton yarn is a twisted yarn constructed by plying two strands of singles yarn together. The first strand is hand dyed with home grown Japanese Indigo Leaves, dyed to a gorgeous and clear medium sky blue. The second strand is of natural, un-dyed organic cotton. The resulting twist creates a tight pattern repeat of blue/natural that has a tweedy appearance when knit. It has a luxurious, soft hand and is perfect for all knitting and crochet projects requiring a light weight cotton yarn.
